Teach & host with us

Bring a great artist to life for the next room of kids.

Masters in the Making is growing, more Sundays, more suburbs, more small hands making bold work. If you're a warm art facilitator, or you have a space that would make a great studio, we'd love to have you.

The short version

You bring the warmth. We bring the rest.

Every session follows the same loved format: kids meet a great artist, hear their story, then make one bold piece to take home. The artwork changes each week, the care never does. We hand you a ready-to-run session and the families to fill it, so you can focus on the part that matters, the room full of kids.

Two ways in

Facilitate, or host. Or both.

There are two ways to work with us. Some people do one, some do both, tell us which sounds like you.

Path one

Become a facilitator

You run the Sundays. We give you the full session, the packed material boxes and the bookings, you bring the artists to life for a small group of children.

  • Lead our small-group workshops (capped at 8 children)
  • Work from our run sheets, no lesson planning
  • Paid per session, with flexible Sunday availability
  • Great for art teachers, artists, early-childhood and creative folk
Path two

Host at your space

You have the room, we bring the workshop. Studios, galleries, cafes, community spaces and schools that want a warm, well-run kids' program on their calendar.

  • Host our workshops at your venue, we handle the run
  • A drawcard weekend program with no work for your team
  • We supply everything and manage the bookings
  • Great for studios, galleries, community hubs and schools
What we provide

Everything but the energy.

You're never starting from a blank page. Each session arrives ready to run.

Packed material boxes

Every child's supplies pre-set and labelled, and the makings prepped, so the session starts the moment the story ends.

Run sheets & training

A clear minute-by-minute guide for each artist, plus onboarding so your first Sunday feels like your tenth.

Bookings & marketing

We fill the room. The website, the booking system and the parent communication all sit with us, not you.

Who we're looking for

Warm, capable and good with kids.

You don't need to be a working artist or a qualified teacher. You do need the things that make a Sunday feel safe, calm and fun.

A genuine way with children

You're patient, warm and able to hold a small room of 8 to 12 year-olds with ease and good humour.

A Working with Children Check

Current WWCC (or willing to get one before your first session). Non-negotiable, and we'll help you through it.

Comfort with creative mess

You enjoy paint on hands and happy chaos, and you can steer it back to calm when it's time to make.

Sunday availability

Our public workshops run Sunday late mornings. Reliable, on-time and set-up-early is the whole job.

Why do it

Rewarding, flexible, and genuinely fun.

Paid & flexible

Earn per session on a schedule that fits around study, art practice or another job. Take the Sundays that suit you.

Zero prep, all the good part

No lesson planning, no shopping, no clean-up logistics. You get the joyful bit, a room of kids making something they love.
