Your day-of pack list
Print this and tick as you go, so nothing gets forgotten in the Sunday-morning rush. Everything for an 11:00am start.
The night before
- Print: 12 workbooks, certificates, attendance & consent sheet, signage, station cards, name tags
- Cut the A3 base sheets - two per child + spares
- Charge the laptop; download the deck (and the PDF backup) so it works offline
- Make one finished example vase to display
- Send the reminder email if you haven't already
Load the car / box
- Bright paper, A3 base sheets, coloured card, scrap paper
- Scissors, glue sticks, double-sided tape, pencils
- Kraft paper roll, paper plates & bowls (or baskets)
- Glass jars (a few sizes), bucket + water jug
- Fresh flowers + fruit & veg for the still-life
- Laptop, HDMI/adaptor, speaker; smocks; wet wipes + bin bag
- The printed pack: workbooks, certificates, register, signage, name tags, tape
30 min before
- Roll & tape the kraft runner down the table
- Set the paper bar by colour down the centre (black & white at one end)
- Two base sheets, a workbook + pencil at each seat
- Tool plates/baskets filled: scissors, glue, tape; a scrap bowl per cluster
- Glass jars + flower bucket on the side table
- Set the still-life centrepiece; stand your example vase out
- Put up signage: hero sign at the door, station cards on the table
- Attendance & consent sheet + a pen by the door
10 min before
- Deck open & the video cued full-screen; test the sound
- Smocks and a wet cloth ready at each table
- Name tags + a marker by the door
- Phone charged for photos; check the allergy/photo-permission notes
Doors & during
- Greet at the sign, tick the register, name tag on, settle in
- Follow the run-sheet: story & video, games, then the make (two collages then the vase)
- Take a few photos of the finished vases (with consent)
End & after
- Fill each jar with a little water + fresh flowers to take home
- Hand every child a certificate; tell families what's on next Sunday
- Pack down; save 3-4 best photos for the newsletter & socials
- That evening / next morning: send the follow-up email, post "look what they made"
